Mansur Mirani is Vice President, Data Portfolio & Strategic Programs at Mastercard, based in Vancouver. He works on identity, fraud and cybersecurity, with a growing focus on data strategy and governance: how organizations manage risk and accountability across the third-party data that fraud and identity decisions depend on. Before this role, Mansur led Mastercard's Vancouver Tech Hub, home to the Global Intelligence and Cyber Centre of Excellence. He led delivery of the federally funded Strategic Innovation Fund program that established the site as a national centre for cybersecurity, identity and AI research. He also leads a portfolio of academic and community partnerships, including a multi-year research collaboration that has produced published papers and a granted US patent in payment authentication. Mansur started as a designer and engineer, and over 25 years his work moved through platform and UX leadership to identity and cybersecurity.
